ABOUT
I was born in Singapore and grew up watching many Disney movies and cartoons and began drawing a lot throughout my school life. I had much difficulty socializing throughout my kindergarten, I spent most of my time drawing in various accumulated sketchbooks.
I sketched just about any idea or thought that came to my mind ranging from my toy Bionicles and Transformers to anime and manga I had recently watched.
I was eventually diagnosed with autism just after starting primary school and was thus transferred to Pathlight School where I had much encouragement from my teachers and peers to hone my drawing skills. It was only during Secondary School when I realized I could use my talents to contribute to the same media that I grew up with. After taking my ‘O’ levels I decided to take a Diploma in Digital Animation in Singapore Polytechnic.
My art and drawing style reflects my interests in robots and western fantasy. When I was younger I enjoyed playing JRPGs and watching any television series with robots and mecha. I have also recently been interested in philosophy, especially Soren Kierkegaard and CS Lewis.
I aim to gather enough work experience as well as programming knowledge to create my own role-playing game with my own character designs and story.
My skills are focused on Concept Art (Characters and Props), 3D Modelling and Rigging. I am skilled at Adobe Photoshop and Maya 3D.
My art was featured at Kids Art Village, Esplanade Park as part of Singapore Arts Festival in 2011. I had worked on it as part of Pathlight School’s Artist Development Programme.
I am currently enrolled in Digipen Institute of Technology in Singapore on a four year Bachelor's in Fine Arts Degree.
